What actually fits
On our booking form the 8-seater has a £90 vehicle base (then mileage). Capacity is 8 passengers with up to 5 large suitcases and 4 small cases in a typical load. If you have golf clubs, a buggy, or 8 adults with 8 large cases, tell us — we may need a different layout or a second vehicle rather than pretending the Vito is a van with no physics.
Families
Child seats are free if you give ages. An 8-seater Heathrow transfer keeps grandparents, kids and cases in one car instead of splitting at T5.
Groups of 5–8
Two saloons look cheaper until you pay twice and wait for the second car. One Vito is the job people mean by “minibus to Heathrow” at this size.

8 seater vs two cars
Saloon base is £45; 8-seater base is £90. Two saloons start at two bases plus two mileages. For six people to Heathrow the Vito is usually the rational quote. Use the form — it applies the same £2.75/mile + £5 surcharge to every vehicle so you can compare fairly. Full method on the prices page.
FAQs
Is this a minibus or a people carrier?
It is an 8-seat Mercedes-Benz Vito people carrier used as an airport transfer vehicle — not a 16-seat coach. For 9+ passengers see buses.
Can I put 8 large suitcases in?
Unlikely if you also have 8 adults. Count cases on the booking. We would rather send the right vehicle than dump bags on laps.
